A safe, discreet, and non-judgmental space in Holywood and online across Northern Ireland.
If you are walking on eggshells at home, constantly feeling blamed, isolated from family, or having your reality rewritten, please know this: You are not crazy, you are not weak, and you are not alone.
Domestic abuse and coercive control against men are frequently hidden, leaving you feeling completely trapped and unheard. Here, you don’t have to prove anything. Backed by 20 years of dedicated front-line experience in mental health and social work, I provide a highly confidential, trauma-informed space where your voice is valued, and your experiences are fully validated.
Recognising the Signs
Abuse isn’t always physical. We work together safely to unpack experiences involving:
- Coercive Control: Feeling monitored, managed, or text-bombarded, and feeling like you have lost your personal independence.
- Emotional & Psychological Abuse: Continuous put-downs, intense jealousy, threats, or being told that “no one will ever believe you.”
- Financial Control: Having your income, spending, or access to funds strictly restricted or monitored.
- Isolation: Being subtly or overtly cut off from friends, family, or support networks.
What to Expect in Your Sessions
Absolute Discretion: Your privacy is the absolute priority. The location in Holywood is private, and online sessions are conducted via secure platforms.
No Judgments: You will never be told to “man up” or face skepticism. Your safety and emotional well-being are the only focus.
Paced Support: We work entirely at your comfort level. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to handle.
